Analucia Carrillo Marroquin de Estrada, Attorney at Law

Short Description

Ms. Carrillo is head of the intellectual property and real estate practice groups. Her practice in the intellectual property area includes a full range of trademark services, including trademark prosecution, client counseling and trademark clearance. She also possesses significant expertise in trademark infringement, opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Office.

She serves a broad base of international clients in the consumer products, pharmaceutical, software and scientific fields. In her prosecution and counseling practice, she renders opinions on the availability and proper use of trademarks. She prepares files and prosecutes trademark applications through the opposition and appeal process. Her range of experience in trademark counseling, prosecution and litigation ensures her ability to offer clients advice throughout the life of a trademark.

Ms. Carrillo practice includes trademarks, unfair competition and false advertising litigation and trademark prosecution. Protecting intellectual property rights under Guatemalan law, she has experience with trademarks, patents, design patents, industrial designs and service trademarks. She is also experienced in negotiating and drafting settlement and license agreements on behalf of clients.

Additionally, she represents and counsels clients in the acquisition, development, leasing and sales of properties as well as real estate transactions.
